My Dad is a real patriot who loves the United States of America and his service to the country. He joined the military in 1962 aged 21, and served 4 years as an officer. My dad was honorably discharged in 1963 after 26 years service with 2 tours of Vietnam. I proudly wear this patriotic shirt because he really believed in my mom’s right to stand up for her First Amendment rights and freedom of speech. Thank you for supporting our family. I was so happy to get this t-shirt. It is so cute, and very well-made. I love that it’s made out of 600 Denier fabric. I know it will wash well and hold up well. I got the blue color, and it’s a great color. I rented it from Target, and it came in a nice box. I’m so glad I got it. It’s a great item for someone who is a very proud veteran. It’s just a shame that it’s a bit more expensive than it should be. I think it’s worth it, because it’s well made, and I love it.

Saw a post about a shirt for a Veteran dad this morning. Hope this helps. My dad is now in the Navy and I’ve started wearing this every year. So far it’s a very good shirt, but I don’t really like the back zipped up, nor the front zipped up. In fact, while my dad isn’t wearing it, I’m wearing it myself with the front zipped up. I don’t hate it, just prefer it. But I miss the back zipped up on my Dad’s shirt. I can’t find any other shirt I like so much. I’m a big fan of Coast to Coast and Old Navy, so I wanted to see if I could get this to fit that style of a shirt.

When my dad was 70, he was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and we were both treating it together. I had been with him since 2001 in the office; he is a proud veteran now, and I am proud to have been his caregiver. The shirt is great and shows he is proud of his service, and I am also proud to be his daughter.
